Pictures of Seattle

This is for Sheena, and for those of you who haven’t been…

Seattle Public Library

Seattle from Kerry Park - davekugler (FLICKR)
This is a great shot of downtown, and look!, the mountain is out.

Seattle as it normally looks - Winginhunk (FLICKR)

The Flying Fish of Pike Place Market - gregkendball (FLICKR)

Pike Place Market in the Evening - Achromatic (FLICKR)
Pike Place Market is one of my favorite places in Seattle. It’s fairly ginormous, and between it and the waterfront, you can have a pretty full day!

The Fremont Troll - poopoorama (FLICKR)
That is a full-sized Volkswagen Beetle in his hand.

Jimi Hendrix Statue - j0mammma
Seattle is filled with public art, like this statue and the next picture. Jimi was a Seattle boy.

The Hesitation - Seattle Daily Photo (FLICKR)

Dick’s - quasilar (FLICKR)
How did Sir Mix-A-Lot gain 100 pounds between Swass and Mack Daddy? The answer, of course, is Dick’s.

Greenlake - Bev and Steve (FLICKR)
This is the neighborhood I will be serving.
Stella pics are around somewhere, I’ll work on getting some up.

Nice pics. Last time we were up there we went to the Troll and saw it in all it’s glory and then had burgers at Dick’s in Lower Queen Anne. Good times and good coffee all the days we were there.

We had a Dick’s Drive In in Bellevue, and it was a huge (and rare) treat to have our parents take us there. Can you still ride your bike around Green Lake? We used to do that on “Bicycle Sundays”.
