Newspapers
November 19, 2008
Hey…if you are like me, you still like to read newspapers. Being the confessed anglophile that I am, and being a bit news-fetishy, I have started supplementing my usage of the Guardian, Times, and Daily Mail (when I’m feeling like a right-wing xenophobic) websites with a great resource. I’ve started using PressDisplay.com which gives you access to full-color pages of your favorite newspaper. It’s not just UK papers, mind you, but papers from around the world (including your local rag). Access to hundreds of front pages is free, but for only $9.95 a month you can get full access to 31 papers a month.
I think it is pretty snazzy, personally. I’m weighing whether I want to throw $9.95 a month down on it (it seems a perfectly reasonable, even cheap, price). If you are interested in checking it out, click one of the links here and sign up for free, they give you 7 credits that you can use to read full papers. Now free… that’s a good deal.
